Acoustic Fantoostic

We played the Anchor Folk Club in Byfleet in Surrey....now bear in  mind yours truelly is spinning Die So Fluid on the ipod at present I was kind of dreading sitting through a couple of hours of solo acoustic folk....but to my surprise it was actually a very entertaining evening. It was a first for Spriggan Mist because apart from me (I had my little battery operated Roland Bass Micro Cube) the rest of the band were completely acoustic. We did a small set and we appeared to go down really well. The people at the club were really brilliant and  I'm sure we'll play there  again.

The day after we did some intensive preparation for the next few gigs. Meeting up in the morning and rehearsing until the early evening. It happened  to be a scorcher of a day and without the aid of roadies it was a triring  but nonethe less an essential excercise.

Next stop, a private party in West Byfleet on Friday and then on to Faery fest to play two sessions plus obviously the release of Caught in a Spell while we are down there
